What a busy week!

1st July 2015

On Tuesday the whole of year 5 were very lucky to have a visit from the  Space Planetarium. They had great fun in the dark looking at the stars and their constellations and discovering amazing facts about the planets in our solar system. It was a super morning had by all.

On Wednesday Year 6 travelled into the wilds!

We have been learning about ‘Wild Weather’ and got to experience some of our own! In class we have been learning map skills – which we then used to find Treraven Woods. Once there we undertook a range of activities: whittling; clay face making; den/team building activities; compass work; RESILIENCE!

The children had a great day and didn’t notice that they were doing ‘normal’ lessons – Maths, English, Geography, PE, Art, DT etc.
