Safeguarding Review
Earlier in March, we welcomed the Local Authority's Education Safeguarding Lead Officer to carry out a full Safeguarding Review of our school, as part of their regular cycle of visiting schools. The purpose of these visits is to provide external oversight to ensure the school's culture and policies remain aligned with the standards of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). The day's visit included: meeting with members of the leadership, safeguarding and pastoral teams; meeting with staff and pupils; visiting classrooms, as well as scrutinising policies, procedures and practices. We received the report last week and are pleased to share the summary:

"Wadebridge Primary School presents as a friendly, thoughtful and well-organised school with an established safeguarding culture. The leadership team is reflective, engaged and committed to continuous improvement. Staff at all levels demonstrated awareness of safeguarding responsibilities, and pupils spoke warmly and confidently about feeling safe, listened to and supported. The school's strengths lie in its proactive engagement with families, consistently applied safeguarding systems, strong SEN provision, and the quality of relationships between adults and pupils."

The visit also generated some very helpful further developments to consider, such as reducing the number of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads in line with the size of the school; providing the option of a 'Report a Concern' function on our website as well as streamlining the safeguarding content covered in our curriculum on our website.

WPA Choir joins Songfest at Hall for Cornwall
The WPA choir had a wonderful experience performing at Hall for Cornwall as part of Songfest 2026 on Tuesday. They joined over a thousand pupils in an impressive, massed choir, and also enjoyed fantastic performances from the Cornwall Youth Choir, which inspired many of our young singers. The choir look forward to showcasing some of the songs in front of their families after Easter.

Year 4 Stay and Learn
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Year 4 Science Stay and Learn last week. The children had a wonderful time, as we hope you did too, taking part in a range of science investigations.

Children's Hospice South West Bake Sale
Well done to Gracie in Year 5 for taking action and deciding to organise a charity bake sale this week. With the support of many others who took the time to bake delicious cakes and biscuits, she made a whopping £162.65 for Children's Hospice South West.

Lady Time Traveller Visits Year 2

Year 5 - A Royal Reply
Year 5 received a Royal Reply last week! Before February half term, Year 5 wrote letters to the King as part of their persuasive writing unit. Their aim was to write and persuade King Charles to award Kathryn Johnson and Mary Jackson honorary OBE's for their services to space travel. Their mathematical genius helped John Glenn to be the first astronaut to orbit Earth and land safely, as well as being involved in the Moon Landing of 1969. Sadly, because of their race, and the level of discrimination and segregation at the time, their involvement was kept hidden - inspiring the book and film, 'Hidden Figures'. Well done, Year 5. A Royal approval of your work!
From the Year 5 team

Lady Time Traveller Visits Year 2
Year 2 would like to say a huge thank you to FOWPA for funding our visit from the Lady Time Traveller (Mrs Hughes). The children had a fantastic morning immersed in the world of Florence Nightingale. The children were able to share their knowledge of her work and life. Mrs Hughes also shared some new information about Florence to further their understanding of her life events. They handled some interesting artefacts: a Victorian hot water bottle; a wooden stethoscope; glass bottles for medicine; a special cup to eat/drink from and a chamber pot. This object surprised them the most as they thought it was a sink! Mrs Hughes showed them how to use a bandage to support a broken arm (like a solider in the Crimean War) before having a go at being a nurse practicing on each other.

Year Group Newsletters

To see what learning has been happening in classes, and what's coming up over the next fortnight, please take a look at the Year Group Newsletters emailed home today. Copies can also be found on the class pages of our website.

Year 3 Assembly
On Thursday, Year 3 presented their amazing assembly about the Romans and Celts. They shared their learning from a range of activities linked to the wider curriculum, including: Roman numerals; historical costume art; mosaic making, cooking pizzas and not forgetting those catchy songs! One of the highlights was the video showcasing their re-enactment of the Roman invasion of Britain.

This feedback received, sums it up brilliantly: "I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of the effort you and the Year 3 team put into the Romans topic. My child has really enjoyed it and was raving about the WOW day. It was a real joy to watch the children singing and presenting this morning, and the footage of the WOW day was brilliant and made us all laugh."

Thank you for coming to share in this experience, as well as getting involved with the enjoyable (and just slightly competitive) quiz at the end. Well done Year 3!

Year 2 Stay and Learn
It was so wonderful to see everyone at the Year 2 Stay and Learn this morning; a huge thank you to everyone who was able to attend. The children had a wonderful time sharing snapshots of their learning with you all. During the session, children were able to showcase some of their learning in Maths (coin recognition, choosing and using their correct coins); English (using conjunctions within a sentence and formulating expanded noun phrases); Science (habitats and materials) and Geography (naming continents and oceans together with recognising human and physical features). We are so proud of the hard work the children have put in so far and this was an excellent way to celebrate with you. Thank you once again for attending and for your continued support.

Parent/Carer Engagement Survey
Thank you for responding to our survey. We will be busy looking at all the responses and sharing the outcomes and next steps with you as soon as possible. Nicky Hepworth, who leads on the Parent/Carer Engagement Framework for Cornwall Council, was in school today to meet with me to discuss this important area of our development plan, as well as experiencing the Year 2 Stay and Learn.

Year 4 Stay and Learn - Friday 27th March
We look forward to seeing family members of Year 4 at their Stay and Learn next Friday 27th March. Doors open after morning drop off for refreshments, with a start time of 09:00. To help the morning drop-off routine, any Year 4 families driving are asked to try parking in the staff car park first (double parking is fine).

Lockdown Practice
This morning we held our annual lockdown practice. Everyone responded really sensibly and calmly. Before this took place, the class teachers let the children know about the practice and what they had to do in an age-appropriate way. What wasn't expected was the fire alarm being accidentally set off straight afterwards - once again the children and staff responded so well. A school lockdown is a safety procedure implemented on the very rare occasions where it is necessary to seal off the school so that it cannot be entered from the outside. This ensures that pupils, staff and visitors are safe in situations where there is a hazard in the school grounds or outside the school in the near vicinity.

Wadebridge Town FC Boot Bank
Wadebridge Football Club have set up a Boot Bank. The purpose of this is twofold, to prevent boots going to waste when they can still be used, and to enable children to have access to boots if they are unable to afford to buy a pair. You may have spotted a collection point just outside our main entrance for any donations.
On behalf of Wadebridge Town FC

Friday 6th March 2026

World Book Day
World Book Day began with a special assembly led by Gangsta Granny (AKA Mrs Orme!), with the theme of reading being great fun and full of adventure. It was wonderful to see the fantastic costumes across the school, with pupils and staff bringing their favourite book characters to life. Throughout the day, children enjoyed a range of creative activities, including making movie trailers for books and inventing their own versions of George's Marvellous Medicine. The day ended with a lovely paired reading session with mixed year groups, giving children the chance to share stories together, followed by a well-deserved biscuit for everyone.

Parent/Carer Survey - Have your say!
So far we have had 38 responses to our survey. We would really appreciate hearing from as many families as possible. For example, questions about home learning can often split opinion, and not just at our school. We will be using the feedback from you, alongside that of pupils and staff, so please share your views. We've extended the deadline to Monday 16th March.

Wadebridge Festival of Speech and Language
This week, 36 of our pupils from Years 1 to 6 proudly represented our school at the Wadebridge Festival of Speech and Language. It takes a great deal of courage to stand in front of an audience and recite poetry, and every child who took part did so with confidence, expression and real flair. We are incredibly proud of all of them for stepping outside their comfort zones and showcasing their speaking skills so brilliantly. Each child received a certificate for participating, and we were also delighted to return with some third and second place awards, as well as an impressive first place. A huge well done to every pupil who took part - you represented our school wonderfully.

Reception Stay and Learn
The Reception team would like to thank all of the parents, grandparents and carers for coming to their Stay and Learn this morning. During their session, the children showcased their level 3 Phonic skills and tricky word recognition. They followed this with a reading and writing activity, where the children were able to show their adults what they could do. We hope this gave everyone a good insight into how hard the children work and what wonderful progress they have made with reading and writing this year. Thank you again for coming, and for your continued support with reading and writing at home.

Congratulations Evie - Former WPA Pupil
On Saturday 7th March, Evie (former WPA pupil - now in Y8 at Wadebridge School) will once again be playing for East Cornwall Schools against Sefton Schools FA - Girls in the ESFA Champions Cup Semi-Final. Good luck, Evie!

St Piran's Day & World Book Day - Thursday 5th March
To celebrate St Piran's Day and World Book Day (on the same day this year), there is the option of your child wearing Cornish colours: black, white and gold or dress up as a book character to celebrate - or a combination of both! Please don't feel you need to go to any unnecessary expense; homemade costumes or keeping it simple is fine. Equally, dressing up isn't for everyone so if your child prefers to attend in their own clothes/school uniform, that is fine. Throughout the day, the children will take part in a range of book related activities including some paired reading with buddies in the opposite key stage over a hot chocolate and a biscuit. For this, we ask that each child brings in their favourite book to share.

Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) start again next week
A reminder that ECAs re-start next Monday 2nd March and finish for the term on Friday 27th March.

Reception Stay and Learn - Friday 6th March
We look forward to seeing family members of Reception at their Stay and Learn next Friday 6th March. Doors open after morning drop off for refreshments, with a start time of 09:00. To help the morning drop-off routine, any Reception families driving are asked to try parking in the staff car park first (double parking is fine).

Parent/Carer Engagement Survey
A reminder that our survey is now open and closes on Friday 6th March.

We recognise that parents, carers and families are the most important influence in a child's life. As part of our work with Cornwall Council's Parent Carer Engagement Framework, we have chosen three areas (below) we would like to develop further with you. We would really appreciate your time in completing the survey to support our next steps in the three areas below, thank you - see link in email.

1) Learning at Home
Aim - Parents/carers (including staff and pupils) are part of a Home Learning review which leads to a co-constructed Home Learning Policy to support children's learning outside of school.

2) Tailored Family Learning Opportunities
Aim - Building on what we currently have in place for parents/carers to be involved with school life and their child's education (e.g. FOWPA events, Stay and Learn events, assemblies, Grandparents' Day, PTCs, etc.) there are further opportunities for parents/carers to engage, e.g. volunteering opportunities, workshops which meet parental needs.

3) Parental Representation and Voice
Aim - For parents/carers to have a structured opportunity to express their views and have these taken into account for whole school matters. To create a Parent Ambassadors Group of parents/carers from across the school who would meet with the Headteacher on a termly basis with an agenda to discuss ideas/feedback, which would then be shared with the whole school community. Alongside this we would create a Parent/Carer Charter. If you would be interested in possibly joining the Parent Ambassadors Group, please share your name and email address in the survey.

House Points
Congratulations to this week's winners, Swans. Overall, Choughs are in the lead:
Choughs - 7668
Puffins - 7064
Swans - 6775
Cormorants - 6060

Congratulations to Year 4 for their wonderful assembly this morning. We were all taken on an historical journey with the Anglo Saxons and Vikings. The performance was fantastic, ending with a roaring rendition of a catchy 'Heave Ho!' song. Parents and family members were then shown the children's work before being challenged on their knowledge of multiplication facts using the iPads.

We are excited to let you know that the Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place in school during the week beginning Monday 23rd February. We can accept cash payments, or you can choose to pay online using a QR code provided at the fair. Year 5 & 6 Space Dome
Last Friday, Year 5 and 6 ventured into a giant dome, bringing their wider curriculum learning to life. Year 5 explored our solar system, whilst Year 6 immersed themselves in evolution. A huge thank you to Simon from Space Odyssey for his annual visit.

Year 1 Stay and Learn
Thank you so much to everyone who could attend our Stay and Learn. It was lovely to share our learning with you and let the children show off what we are doing in school. There were some fabulous penny farthing drawings and excellent Maths skills on display. It was also great to see the children showing how to decode the words on our Phonics table. It was mentioned that links to some of the games we use would be useful to support learning at home - we will send these sent out as soon as possible. We hope you've managed to lose the smell of garlic paste!

KS2 Playground Comes Alive!
It's been a super week celebrating the launch of our refreshed KS2 playground, and what a difference it's already made! As some of you may know, we've introduced some fantastic new equipment, including two table tennis tables, tennis rackets, basketballs, skipping ropes, and more. There may have been a few tennis balls that decided to go on an adventure of their own (we're still keeping an eye out!) but aside from that, the launch has been a huge success. It's been wonderful to see the children so excited for their break times-heading outside with smiles, coming together as teams, and making the most of the space and equipment. The playground has been full of energy, laughter, and positive play, which are exactly the goals we were aiming for. Seeing the children enjoying themselves and building friendships through play has been the highlight of our week. Here's what some of the children have been saying:

"The new equipment is amazing because there's so much more to do now. I love playing table tennis with my friends and trying new games every break time."

"Our playground has really come alive. Everyone is playing together more, and it feels more fun and exciting than ever before."

"I really look forward to playtime now because there are so many choices."

Thank you for your continued support-we're thrilled with how the playground is being used and loved already, and we can't wait to see it continue to grow as a happy, active space for everyone.
From Mrs Callister, KS2 Phase Leader

Year 1 Penguin WOW Day
What a fantastic day we've had to celebrate our learning about Emperor Penguins. Thank you for your efforts with the costumes - the children looked amazing and enjoyed showing off their outfits to the rest of the school at assembly this afternoon. We started the day with penguin crafts, making dangly penguins and collaging our own penguins on the ice. This afternoon, we used the hall to come together and make a big huddle, just like the penguins do in Antarctica to keep warm. It was certainly warm in the middle! We then used beanbags as eggs and waddled around to see who could keep their egg safe the longest - it wasn't the adults (!) - before having some relay races in teams.
From the Year 1 team

FOWPA Quiz Thanks
FOWPA would like to thank everyone who came out to support the WPA Big Quiz last Friday! With your support we raised nearly £600 to support the children and school. A huge thank you to the families and businesses (including Sharp's Brewery, Glanville, Tesco and Boots) who donated items as raffle prizes too. It takes wonderful FOWPA volunteers to organise these great events, so if you would like to join our friendly PTA and have fun raising funds for our school, please email fowpa@wadebridgeprimary.co.uk

Wishing you a relaxing weekend.
Best wishes,
Chris Wathern

Friday 23rd January 2026

Despite the rain this week, the children have shone with their learning in so many ways. From fractions to bringing characters to life in Matilda, well done to everyone for their perseverance and hard work. As I'm writing this blog, a Year 5 child has just shown me her amazing writing and voice over - you know who you are - fantastic effort! Amongst many of the additional enrichment highlights (see below), Mrs Orme and I have the pleasure of supporting the choir learning songs ready to perform at Hall for Cornwall later in March at SongFest. This morning too, always a treat, hearing a couple of Year 2 children busy preparing to sing in assembly this afternoon (and for one it's her birthday too)! Friday's Celebration Assembly is always a lovely way to end the week, sharing our Shining Stars from each class, cheering on our 'Best Seats in the House' and of course finding out which year group has won the coveted Golden Rucksack. So yes, despite the gloomier weather, there has been much to celebrate this week. Do read on for just some of the other highlights..

Year 2 Times Table Rock Stars
On Monday, Year 2 'rocked' their times tables with their official launch of Times Tables Rock Stars, an online platform used throughout the school to develop accuracy and fluency in recall of multiplication and division facts. The children learnt to use the 'Garage' function which contains their personal 'heat map'. This tracks their progress enabling children to identify which facts they need to work on next. They are really keen to continue the great start made by practising regularly at home and in our weekly sessions. Later in the year, we will set up tournaments whereby the children can work together to improve their scores. We will keep you posted! We would like to say a special thank you to you for helping the children look and feel the part on Monday - the costumes were amazing and really helped to make the day a special event.

Year 2 Farm and Food Roadshow
In Science and Design Technology, Year 2 are learning about nutrition and what we need for healthy growth. We were delighted to welcome Emma Parkyn from the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association on Thursday. The children had lots of fun learning all about our food and where it comes from. This event really helped the learning come to life. We would like to thank Emma for her fun yet informative visit.
From the Year 2 team

Year 6 Stay and Learn
Today, Year 6 enjoyed a Stay and Learn session in which parents and children worked together during a fantasy fiction writing workshop. They explored real-life prompts to inspire their writing, using everyday objects and experiences as starting points for imaginative and magical ideas. As part of the session, we invited parents to share their feedback.
One parent wrote: "The session was fantastic. It was well led and constructed, taking us through the process of exploring creative writing in dynamic and engaging ways. Thank you for all your hard work Year 6 team, your energy and enthusiasm for learning is infectious!" Thank you to everyone who joined us today. The children showed great creativity and teamwork, and we are very proud of their efforts.
From the Year 6 team

Reception Trip to Eden
What a wonderful school trip Reception had going to the Eden Project! We are so proud of how well all the children behaved and listened carefully to all of the instructions. They had a fantastic time on the ice playing with the equipment. They were able to play on bikes, in cars and pull each other along on sledges. The day linked perfectly to our Winter topic with the children making links between their learning and real-life experiences. Our favourite was being able to walk like a penguin on the ice with one of the children saying that we needed to huddle to keep warm "just like penguins do!" We would like to thank our wonderful volunteers who joined us for the day. Without them, the trip would not have happened.
From the Reception team

EcoCouncil
The Eco Council have been reviewing our Climate Action Plan. They have carried out a questionnaire with their classes and identified areas of strength and next steps. One area highlighted was that our use of paper could still be reduced. The Eco Council are now designing posters to remind everyone (teachers included!) to 'Think before you Print!' We hope to see a reduction in the paper coming out of our photocopiers over the coming weeks.

Reading Ambassadors Buddy Scheme
This week saw the launch of our Reading Ambassadors Buddy Scheme, where some of our older Reading Ambassadors are paired with KS1 children to share reading with an older pupil. Our KS2 Reading Ambassadors recently received training from Miss Johnston on how to support reading fluency, encouraging accuracy, pace and expression, and promoting positive reading habits. It has been wonderful seeing some of our older children working with our younger readers, building confidence and enjoyment.

Year 5 Assembly - Thursday 29th January

We look forward to seeing family members of Year 5 at their assembly next Thursday 29th January. Doors open after morning drop off for refreshments, with a start time of 09:00. To help the morning drop-off routine, any Year 5 families driving are asked to try parking in the staff car park first (double parking is fine).

Caterlink Survey
Caterlink are carrying out their annual pupil survey to assist them in improving their catering service across schools and would value the opportunity to survey our pupils at school. If you wish to take part, please click on this link sent home by email today.

Staffing News
Next week, we are looking forward to welcoming back Hannah O'Dwyer into Nursery - she has been greatly missed. We are also pleased to share that Mrs Graham (Class 4W teacher) is expecting her first child and is likely to begin her maternity leave at the beginning of May. I'm sure everyone will join me in offering our congratulations.

Term 2 Curriculum Maps
Next Monday, please look out for a separate email with all the year group Curriculum Maps for this term.

KS2 Cross Country
On Monday, over 50 of our KS2 pupils represented Wadebridge Primary in the second Wadebridge Area School Cross Country event of the year. All WPA pupils ran with smiles on their faces and enjoyed themselves. Some good results and personal bests recorded. Well done to all!

Year 6 Stay and Learn - Friday 23rd January
We look forward to seeing family members of Year 6 at their Stay and Learn (Fantasy Fiction) next Friday 23rd January. Doors open after morning drop off for refreshments, with a start time of 09:00. To help the morning drop-off routine, any Year 6 families driving are encouraged to park in the staff car park (double parking is fine).

Bridge Kids/Lunch Club Makeover
We are excited to share that we are currently working on improving the provision and physical environment of our 'Bridge Kids' wrap-around care. These enhancements will include a fresh coat of paint, a vibrant wall mural, new furniture, and a range of engaging games to create a welcoming and stimulating space for the children. Those who attend Lunch Club will also benefit from these improvements along with a range of children who use this space within the school day. Photos to follow!

KS2 Playground Project
After much work behind the scenes, we are excited to announce that our KS2 playground project is now in full swing and almost ready to be very much improved. The children have been consulted about what they would love to see added and, while a roller coaster won't be making an appearance, we can reveal that table tennis tables, a new selection of bikes, and exciting new playground markings will be! This project is designed to better engage our children and provide a safe space where they can be imaginative, creative, and active together. Please see attachment in today's email for further details. We really hope you will be as excited as we are about this new venture.
From Mrs Callister

The improvements we are making to our play and lunch provision couldn't have happened without the support of FOWPA and everyone who has contributed to our fundraising efforts. If anyone would like to help with future fundraising events to support projects like this, please email fowpa@wadebridgeprimary.co.uk or take part in events such as the quiz - see below!

Happy New Year and Welcome Back!

Apart from the weather disruption, it's been a very calm and purposeful first week back to school. Thank you once again for your support yesterday afternoon and this morning.

Digital Safety
We regularly post and share with our community information to support children staying safe online and being digitally responsible. Dame Rachel de Souza, Children's Commissioner, has published a new guide to share with parents/carers - What I wish my parents or carers knew: A guide for parents on managing children's digital lives (link emailed home).
Please do take a look at this guide as part of our shared responsibility (schools, families and wider society) in balancing protecting children from online harm whilst enabling access to spaces that are now central to learning, socialising and play.

Friday 19th December 2025

What a full and festive final couple of weeks we have had. Here's just some of the highlights.

Family Carol Service
It was wonderful to see so many families in a very full Egloshayle Church last week for our Carol Service. Well done to our string group, choir and readers for what was a lovely occasion.

Christmas Fun Run

Thank you and congratulations to everyone for raising a staggering £1030 for Children's Hospice South West in our recent Christmas Fun Run.

Christmas Raffle and Winter Fayre
FOWPA would like to thank all parents and carers for their support with the Christmas Raffle. We raised over £700 to help fund school improvements, trips and supplies. All winners have been contacted to collect their great prizes, mostly donated by local businesses of Wadebridge and Camelford, including: Williams Butchers; Party PA; The Molesworth; Hendra; Bodmin Railway; Ann's Cottage; Cheeses at Wadebridge; Vision's Hair Salon; The Nuthatch; Kiln Craft; Trevathan Farm; Wadebridge Sports and Leisure Centre; Camelford Leisure Centre; Wadebridge Computers; Steve Heard Butchers; Pencarrow House and Camelford Hardware Shop.

We hope everyone enjoyed this year's Winter Fayre, which is fast becoming a WPA festive tradition! We were pleased to see so many families attend. With your support we raised over £800 to support improvements to the school and fund equipment and trips that benefit the children. We couldn't do it without you, so thank you!

Nursery and Reception Singalong
Well done to all the children in Nursery and Reception for their spectacular sing along this week. The hall was packed to hear some well-known festive tunes, performed so brilliantly by the youngest children of the school. KS1 Nativity Performing to over 300 family members in just one day, our KS1 children certainly shone. Congratulations to all the children (and staff) for their amazing performance of A Bundle of Joy.

Cinema Trip
Thank you to Wadebridge Cinema for hosting us on two occasions this week - the children enjoyed watching the films. Thank you to the parents who supported walking the children down and back up(!) the hill.

English Success
We are incredibly proud of our young writers in Year 6B who have taken part in the Young Writers poetry competition, "I Have a Dream." A fantastic number of children from the class have had their poems selected for publication, which is a wonderful achievement and a testament to their creativity, imagination, and hard work. Their poems will be included in an anthology due to be published in February next year, and we are very much looking forward to receiving and sharing our copy in school. This is an exciting opportunity for our pupils to see their writing in print and to celebrate their voices as young poets. Well done to everyone involved!

Our Reading Ambassadors recently organised a wonderful creative competition - a "book in a diorama." Pupils were challenged to bring their favourite stories to life, and the results were truly impressive. The Reading Ambassadors joined Miss Johnston in judging the entries and were amazed by the effort and imagination on display. We saw fantastic dioramas inspired by stories such as Harry Potter, Commotion in the Ocean, Paddington Bear, The Secret Seven and The Christmas Story, to name just a few. Some entries were incredibly detailed - we even had real water used in one of the designs! A huge well done to everyone who took part (including parent participation). The Reading Ambassadors are already looking forward to organising the next competition, so watch this space!
From Emma Johnston (English Lead)

On Wednesday 7th January at 2pm, there will be a Parent Cafe with Vanessa from the Autism in Schools Team. Please meet arrive at reception by 1:55pm. She will be available to answer any questions as well as providing information around managing anxiety. All are welcome. Please contact Jonathan Smith at jsmith@bridgeschools.co.uk if you are able to attend.

And finally.. Today we hosted our annual WPA staff pantomime for the children. It was a particularly moving event (and that's not just the staff dancing) as it marked the 20th anniversary of the same pantomime Mr Langton first performed all those years ago. We ended the panto with a very special farewell to a wonderful member of staff. We will miss you Mr Langton and wish you all the very best. It's certainly been a very long term, with so many memorable learning and enrichment opportunities. Thank you for all your continued support and to our dedicated staff for all their hard work throughout such a busy term.

I wish you all a restful and enjoyable Christmas break and a very Happy New Year!
We look forward to seeing you back at school on Tuesday 6th January 2026.

Best wishes,
Chris
