Teaching Assistant

Location: Polruan Primary Academy

From September 2024, we are looking to appoint an EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant for our small and caring school. We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is patient, understanding, has strong communications skills and enjoys working as part of a team. We are proud to be a creative, nurturing and supportive school; one where children have a real desire to learn and where a mutually respectful atmosphere exists between children and adults.

Hours per week: 27.5 (Teaching Assistant) and 2.5 (Lunchtime Supervisor)
Rate of pay: 12.02 per hour.
Working Weeks: 38 per year
Paid weeks: 43.699 per year

Closing Date: Sunday 1st September (midnight)
Interviews: Thursday 12th September 2024.

Teaching Assistant (INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

Looe Primary Academy is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our successful school and to potentially work across both Key Stages.
The position is offered on a temporary fixed term basis for the next academic year, for two days per week with Lunchtime supervision included. The support to be provided will be decided on appointment, once we are aware of the strengths of the successful candidate, as will the working days of the week

In return, Looe Primary offers a friendly and supportive team, who work well together and put the education and welfare of the pupils at the heart of all we do. The school has a good reputation in the community and our work to engage with the community is a high priority as we continue to improve our already successful school.
